271 Notice of adjourned meeting
of a provincial company is adjourned for less than 30 days, it is not
necessary, unless the bylaws otherwise provide, to give notice of
the adjourned meeting, other than by announcement at the time of
the adjournment.
(2) If a meeting of participating policyholders or shareholders of a
provincial company is adjourned by one or more adjournments for
an aggregate of 30 days or more, notice of the adjourned meeting
must be given as for an original meeting but, unless the meeting is
adjourned by one or more adjournments for an aggregate of more
than 90 days, section 304 does not apply.
