56.6 Warranties of certification authority

The issuance of a certificate by a certification authority
constitutes a warranty by the certification authority that
(a) to the knowledge of the certification authority, the
information contained in the certificate is true,
(b) the individual to whom the certificate was issued is eligible
to be a subscriber under the requirements set out in the
approved certification practice statement and the Registrar's
policies published under section 56.13,
RSA 2000

(c) the certificate was issued i n accordance with the approved
certification practice statement,
(d) the individual to whom the certificate was issued has agreed
to observe and comply with the requirements of the
approved certification practice statement, and
(e) where necessary, the certification authority will act
promptly to suspend or revoke the certificate in accordance
with the requirements of the approved certification practice
statement.
