59 Inspection of place other than private dwelling
purpose of determining the presence of a nuisance or determining
whether this Act and the regulations are being complied with.
(2) An executive officer making an inspection under subsection (1)
may do the following:
(a) at any reasonable hour enter in or on the public place that is
the subject of the inspection;
(a.1) require any person to provide the name and contact
information of any owner of the public place;

(b) require the production of any books, records or other
documents that are relevant to the purpose of the inspection
and examine them, make copies of them or remove them
temporarily for the purpose of making copies;
(c) make reasonable oral or written inquiries of any person who
the executive officer believes on reasonable grounds may
have information relevant to the subject-matter of the
inspection;
(d) inspect and take samples of any substance, food, medication
or equipment being used in or on the public place;
(e) perform tests, take photographs and make recordings in
respect of the public place.
(3) If an executive officer removes any books, records or other
documents under subsection (2)(b), the executive officer shall
(a) give to the person from whom the items were taken a receipt
for the items, and
(b) as soon as is practicable return the items to the person from
whom they were taken when they have served the purpose
for which they were taken.
