10 Classification of Positions Classification plan
Governor in Council establish one or more classification plans
defining and designating the classes of positions in the public
service
(a) as a basis for uniform treatment of employees performing
the same kind and level of work, and
(b) to provide a systematic b asis for organization and
administration.
(2) Each position in a department shall be allocated to a class in a
classification plan by the Commissioner.
(3) The Minister may from time to time amend a classification
plan without the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
