29 Employment on fee-for-service basis
recommendation of the Minister, may by order
(a) engage any person to provide to the Government the
services specified in the order;
(b) authorize the payment of fees to that person and
remuneration to be paid for that person's travelling and
living expenses incurred while absent from the person's
place of residence in the course of performing the person's
services;
(c) provide for any other ma tter in connection with the
engagement of that person's services or the services
required to be performed.
(2) The Lieutenant Governor in Council, on the recommendation
of the Minister, may delegate the powers under subsection (1) to a
department head either generally or in specified cases and in either
case shall prescribe the circumstances under which and the
conditions on which the department head may exercise the powers
so delegated.
