14 Conduct of preliminary investigation
13(1), appoint a person to conduct a preliminary investigation.
(2) After a preliminary investigation under this section, the person
conducting the preliminary investigation
(a) shall make a written report to the Board on the investigat ion,
and
(b) may make recommendations to the Board regarding the
matter investigated, with reasons for the recommendations.
(3) If a practitioner does not co-operate with the person conducting
the preliminary investigation, the Board may make a complaint in
writing to the Discipline Committee and the failure or refusal to
co-operate may be held by the Discipline Committee to be
unprofessional conduct.
