30.1 Alberta Safety Codes Authority Establishment and powers of Authority
division of the Council to be known as the "Alberta Safety Codes
Authority" to oversee the provision of services pursuant to all or
part of this Act identified by the order in areas to be administered
by the Crown.
(2) The membership, powers and duties of the Authority shall be
established in accordance with the order referred to in subsection
(1).
(3) The Authority may enter into contracts on behalf of the
Council that the Authority considers appropriate for the exercise of
its powers and performance of its duties under this Act.

(4) The Authority may appear as an applicant or respondent in
legal proceedings concerning the services that it provides or
oversees pursuant to this section.
(5) The Regulations Act applies to an order made under this
section.
