29 Special Areas Board
"Special Areas Board" composed of the members appointed under
this section.
(2) The Board is an agent of the Crown in right of Alberta.
(3) The Board shall consist of not more than 4 members appointed
by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
(4) The Lieutenant Governor in Council may prescribe a term of
office for each member of the Board.
(5) The Lieutenant Governor in Council shall designate one of the
members to be chair of the Board.
(6) The chair of the Board is the chief executive officer of the
Board.
(7) The members of the Board may be
(a) paid remuneration for their services, and
(b) reimbursed for reasonable travelling and living expenses
necessarily incurred by them in the performance of their
duties
at the rates prescribed by the Minister.
