58 Notification of consolidation of units

(1) The owners who wish to consolidate 2 or more units into
one consolidated unit must
(a) give notice of the proposed consolidation to the board and
to the holders of any interests registered against the
certificates of title to the units,
(b) provide to the board any documentation and information
that the board may reasonably request that relates to the
proposed consolidation,

(c) if the external boundaries of the proposed consolidated
unit are to be different than the external boundaries of the
existing units that are being consolidated as shown on the
existing condominium plan, provide to the board a plan of
consolidation provided by a land surveyor setting out the
location of the external boundaries of the proposed
consolidated unit,
(d) provide to the board all the appropriate consolidation
documents and approvals, and
(e) obtain the approval of the board for the consolidation.
(2) For the purposes of this section,
(a) a reference to the external boundaries of the existing uni ts
is a reference to the external boundaries other than those
portions of those boundaries that will, on the
consolidation taking place, be contained entirely within
the consolidated unit, and
(b) a reference to a land surve yor is a reference to a person
referred to in section 10(1)(b)(i) of the Act.
