4 Delegation of clerk's duties

(1) A clerk may authorize in writing a person to do any act or
thing required or permitted to be done by a clerk under this or any
other Act.
(2) An authorization given under this section may be
(a) general or applicable to a particular case, and
(b) conditional or unconditional.
(3) An authorization given under subsection (1)
(a) purporting to be signed by the person giving it, and
(b) stating that the person named in it is authorized under th is
section to do the act or thing set out in the written
authorization,
or a copy of it, shall be admitted in evidence as proof, in the
absence of evidence to the contrary, of that person's authorization
to do the act or thing without proof of the signature or official
character of the person appearing to have signed the authorization.
