53 Duty of Discipline Committee

(1) On the referral of a matter to the Discipline Committee for a
formal hearing, the Discipline Committee shall hold the hearing
forthwith.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), if proceedings in respect of the
same circumstances or events are commenced in the Court of
Justice or the Court of King's Bench, the Discipline Committee
may adjourn the hearing.

ENGINEERING AND GEOSCIENCE
(3) The Registrar shall serve on the investigated person and on the
complainant, if any, a notice of hearing stating the date, time and
place at which the Discipline Committee will hold the hearing and
giving reasonable particulars of the conduct or complaint in respect
of which the hearing will be held.
