77 Illustration of plan of survey

(1) A plan of survey shall not be registered unless the plan of
survey
(a) illustrates and represents t he survey as made on the ground
in accordance with the Surveys Act,
(b) is prepared
(i) to the satisfaction of the R egistrar, so that it contains the
information and details that the Registrar considers
appropriate, and
(ii) on a medium or material o r in a digital format approved
by the Registrar,
(c) states the purpose of the survey, and
(d) is certified in the prescribed form.
(2) The illustration of a survey made under subsection (1)(a) shall
include
(a) the position and nature of all survey monuments found and
placed in the course of the survey,
(b) subject to subsection (3), the original boundary lines of any
parcel of land affected by the survey and any boundary line
established by the survey, and
(c) a sufficient number of measurements,
as is necessary to enable the position of the parcels established by
the survey to be located on the ground.
(3) If, in the opinion of the Registrar, it is not necessary to show all
of the original boundaries of a parcel of land in order to determine
the position of the land intended to be dealt with, it is sufficient to

show only the information in regard to the boundaries that the
Registrar determines to be necessary.
