22 Abolishment of position
(a) every effort shall be m ade to place the employee who
occupied that position in any other position in the public
service for which the employee is qualified, but
(b) if no suitable position can be found, the employee shall be
released and shall be given preference for re-employment
over equally qualified applicants.
