9.9.4.6 Openings Near Exit Doors
Articles 9.10.13.5. and 9.10.13.7., where
a) an exterior exit door
i) in one fire compartment is within 3 m horizontally of an unprotected opening serving another fire
compartment, or
ii) in one dwelling unit, ancillary space or common space in a house with a secondary suite is within 3 m
horizontally of the unprotected openings serving another dwelling unit, ancillary space or common space in
a house with a secondary suite, and
b) the exterior walls of the fire compartments, dwelling units, ancillary spaces and common spaces in a house
with a secondary suite referred to in Clause (a) intersect at an exterior angle of less than 135°.
