100 Intention to establish
referred to in section 99 wish to establish a separate school district,
they must initiate the process by
(a) notifying the Minister in writing of their intention to
proceed with the establishment of a separate school district,
and
(b) providing a copy of the notification referred to in clause (a)
to the operating separate school board, the public school
board and the municipality or municipalities in which the
public school district is located.
(2) The Minister may make regulations
(a) prescribing the time by which notice must be provided to
the Minister under subsection (1)(a) for the establishment of
a proposed separate school district, and
(b) prescribing the time by which a copy of the notice under
subsection (1)(b) must be provided to the operating separate
school board, the public school board and the municipality
or municipalities in which the public school district is
located.
