149 Notice on acquisition
land, the person shall complete the appropriate notice referred to in
this Division and give it to the municipality in which the land
referred to in the transfer is located.
(2) If a municipality does not receive a notice under subsection (1)
within 60 days after it is advised that the ownership of a fee simple
estate in land has been transferred, the municipality shall send the
transferee
(a) if the transferee is an ind ividual, a form of notice under
section 147(1) and (3), or
(b) if the transferee is a corp oration or cooperative, a form of
notice under section 148.
(3) A form of notice required to be sent under subsection (2)(a) or
(b) may be sent in accordance with a bylaw under section 608.1(2)
of the Municipal Government Act.
