240.5 Number of petitioners
(a) in the case of a municipa lity other than a summer village, by
electors of the municipality or ward, as determined under
section 240.4, equal in number to at least 40% of the
population, and
(b) in the case of a summer v illage, by electors of the summer
village equal in number to at least 50% of the number of
summer village residences in the summer village.
