Part 3 — Special Municipal Powers and Limits on Municipal Powers Division 1 Expropriation
28.1 Interpretation
(a) "municipal tariff matter" m eans any matter relating to a
transmission tariff, a distribution tariff or a regulated rate
tariff of a municipality or of a subsidiary of a municipality
that is subject to the jurisdiction of the Alberta Utilities
Commission under the Electric Utilities Act;
(b) "transmission tariff", "di stribution tariff", "regulated rate
tariff" and "subsidiary" have the same meaning as they have
in the Electric Utilities Act.
(2) In the event of an inconsistency between the Electric Utilities
Act and this Act in respect of a municipal tariff matter, the Electric
Utilities Act prevails.
