41 Discontinue providing public utility

In accordance with its bylaws, a municipality may, for any
lawful reason,

RSA 2000

(a) discontinue providing a municipal utility service after giving
reasonable notice of its intention to do so, and
(b) remove the system or works of the municipal public utility
used to provide the utility service.
