31 Official plan of Metis patented land required
Metis title or allotment in Metis patented land may be granted or
transferred to a member of a Metis settlement or be recorded in the
Metis Settlements Land Registry in the name of a member of a
Metis settlement if the Metis patented land is unsurveyed territory.

(2) On and after March 26, 1998, no register for Metis title in
Metis patented land may be created in the Metis Settlements Land
Registry in the name of a Metis settlement if the Metis patented
land is unsurveyed territory.
