56.5 Certification practice statement
(a) a statement of the qualifi cations for eligibility to become a
subscriber,
(b) a description of the policie s, practices and procedures to be
used by the certification authority in
(i) issuing, administering, suspending and revoking a
certificate,
(ii) providing access to the i nformation contained in a
certificate, and
(iii) establishing and maintaining the security and validity o f
digital signatures of subscribers,
(c) a description of the pr actices and procedures that a
subscriber must follow, including, without limitation,
practices and procedures to ensure the security and validity
of that subscriber's digital signature, and
(d) any other content that the Registrar or certification auth ority
considers necessary.
RSA 2000
(2) The Registrar may require a certification authority to make
changes to an approved certification practice statement to address
(a) changes to the Registra r's policies, practices and
procedures, or
(b) issues respecting a certification authority.
(3) No change to a certification practice statement has force or
effect until it has been approved by the Registrar.
