56.51 Issuance of certificate re digital signature
certificate to an individual to authorize the individual to incorporate
the individual's digital signature into submission forms.
(2) A certificate issued under subsection (1) may impose
restrictions or conditions on the authorization.
(3) The Registrar or certification authority, as the case may be,
may suspend or revoke a certificate issued under subsection (1) if
the subscriber fails to comply with this Act, the Registrar's policies
published under section 56.13, the approved certification practice
statement or other applicable standards, guidelines or policies.
(3.1) The Registrar may suspend or cancel a certificate issued
under subsection (1) if the Registrar considers that it is in the
public interest to do so.
(4) A certification authority shall maintain a directory of
subscribers to whom the certification authority has issued a
certificate.
